Gratitude

Many books on mindfulness encourage you to keep a Gratitude Journal. This is a wonderful tool to remind yourself that there is always positivity in your life and things to feel good about but sometimes you just don't have time to jot it all down! For me, I like to start and end my day by whispering a thanks of gratitude. I have made this a ritual that I practice as soon as I open my eyes in the morning and the last thing I do before I close my eyes at night. It has proven to be a VERY powerful tool in helping me stay positive. Give it a try...but keep it simple and have fun with it!

Lovely Day

Okay, lets launch this party!  After I meditate, I like to start my day right off the bat by listening to happy upbeat positive music...that way Im more inclined to feel good about myself and what life has in store for me. The positivity is absorbed directly into my subconscious mind ( a very powerful part of the brain where I unconsciously make decisions from throughout the day...more on that later). For now all you need to do is just turn up the volume, (toe tap if you must!) and let the corners of your mouth start to turn upwards :) Simple dimple, right? This is one of my favorites! Have an awesome day!
